구글의 브라우저 Google 크롭 (Chrome)의 베타가 출시되었다.
구글 톡 처럼 심플하면서 제 할일을 척척 해내는 - 그것도 아주 빨리 - 멋진 브라우저인 것 같다.
- 너무나 너무나 너무나 빠르다!! 페이지 로딩 속도가 특히 구글 서비스는 초고속이다.
- 동적 탭은 정말 동적이었고 fancy했다. 탭을 드래그로 떼어내서 새 윈도우로 만들 수도 있다.
- 새탭을 열면 최근 방문한 페이지 목록이 페이지에 나타나서 편하고,
- 웹 Application 바로 가기도 만들기 쉽고,
- 모든 탭은 독립적인 Application이기 때문에 하나의 탭 브라우저가 죽는다고 전체 브라우저가 죽을 일도 없다
하지만,
- 구글의 브라우저이지만, 구글 툴바도 설치 할 수 없다.
즉, 파폭에서 쓰던 편리한 플러그인들이 아직 설치할 수 없는 것 같다.
- Flickr 서비스에서는 사진 업로드 시 사진 선택 후 다음 단계로 넘어가지 않는 등 기존 서비스들과의 호환성 문제(?)가 있는 것 같다. 기존 서비스들이 표준을 안 따랐는지, 크롭이 안 따랐는진 알 수 없지만...
아무튼 너무 너무 멋지다.
그러나 회사에서는 프록시 설정을 해봤지만 동작하지 않는다. -_-;

라이프 해커님의 블로그에도 답글 달았지만...
오페라도 동적 탭 되었고, 사파리는 맥에서 동적 탭 되었는데...
누가 하느냐에 따라 사람들이 다르게 느낀 것 같어...
구글이 하면 역시 다르다? ^^:
회사의 몇 몇 PC에서 구글 Chrome이 브라우징이 안되는 해결책을 찾아보니 바탕화면에 바로가기를 만들고 "대상"(target)의 마지막 란에 "-no-sandbox"를 입력하니 되는군요.

플래쉬 문제만 좀 해결되었으면 좋겠어여.
저는 구글 툴바, Delicious, Google Note 등 몇개의 플러그인들이 빨리 설치될 수 있으면 좋겠어요 ^^
인터페이스는 애플리케이션이라기 보단 플랫폼의 느낌이 강하더군요. 이게 맘에 들더군요.
먼가 MS Windows 스타일이 아닌 새로운 것이라는 느낌이 많이 들어서, 그리고 무엇 보다도 주요 기능에 충실함이 보이는 UI가 좋은 것 같습니다.
특히 애플리케이션 기능이 짱 맘에 든다는..
다른 브라우저에도 동적 탭이 되긴 했지만, 동적 탭이 너무 편하고 좋군요 ^^
